Crawford School of Irish Dance,
Salt Lake City, UT: Directed by Jill Crawford, TCRG. Ms. Crawford is
nationally certified by the An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha (Irish
Commission) is in good standing and registered with the Irish Dance
Teachers Association of North America. The school has performed a
number of times with the world renowned Chieftains, Cherish the Ladies,
Utah Symphony and most recently, the Olympic events at Washington
Square and Olympic Village. We are actively involved in the Living
Traditions Festival, St. Patrick's Day festivities, Festival of Roses
and Scottish Festivals around the area during the summer. We've also
danced with Eileen Ivers, the fidder from Riverdance, and her band
Immigrant Soul. Along with all of our performing opportunities, we also
sponsor the yearly Utah State Feis Championships Utah State Feis
Championship for dancers throughout the West.
Hibernian Society of Utah: Promotes the culture and history of Ireland and Irish Americans throughout the state by hosting regular ceilis (music and dance celebrations), festivals, lectures and readings, and the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Siamsa.
Kindred Voices, Orem,
UT: Performs a delightful variety of Celtic Folk and New Age songs from
Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England, as well as original
music. They have produced two recordings, "Rosemary for
Remembrance," and their latest release, "
Rhythm of Ireland
Dance: Utah's premiere Irish dance company. This company is
composed of the finest Irish dancers in the state. Two certified irish
dancing schools have combined their championship level dancers to
create outstanding performances that will excite audiences and leave
you begging for more. Many of these dancers have won state competitions
and competed at the national level. No other company within the state
of Utah can provide you with this level of Irish dance.
Stone Circle: A
vibrant, five-piece, Celtic-Fusion band from Salt Lake City, Utah. The
goal of the band has always been to create a musical experience that is
both ethereal and beautifully uplifting. Stonecircle music is a
language of haunting melodies and driving, progressive tune.
